Anderson University is seeking a Part Time Office Manager to support the day to day administrative support needs for the offices of Spiritual Life and Counseling Services. Specific responsibilities include answering calls and email inquiries greeting office visitors with care and compassion scheduling appointments maintaining expense and budget documentation maintaining confidential records supervising student employees assisting with chapel schedules and making arrangements for chapel speakers including promotion and arranging compensation. The role also provides general clerical support. The successful candidate will take initiative and have the ability to coordinate several concurrent projects to completion while dealing with frequent interruptions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to contend with sensitive confidential situations responsibly and compassionately are needed.
This is a part time position noted at 49% Full Time Equivalency.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
23 years of experience in an office or administrative support role
Demonstrated ability to handle general office operations and routines
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) Adobe Acrobat and Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Calendar Drive)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a part-time schedule
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Dependable self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Customer service mindset with a helpful team-oriented approach
