About the role
The Team Leader Post Approval is key to the successful delivery of critical renewable energy infrastructure for NSW. The Team Leader will manage a small team and will assess post approval documentation and requirements for transmission infrastructure projects and other State significant projects as required.
The role drives the implementation of best practice and innovative post approval processes to meet Government goals for the efficient and sustainable delivery of state significant infrastructure.
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive professional to join our team. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives on delivering high quality outcomes can manage competing priorities and brings a solutions-focused mindset to complex challenges. The role requires strong written skill initiative adaptability and a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve high-quality results.
You will lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of post approval officers including the review of a high volume of post approval documentation for transmission and other renewable energy projects ensure the provision of consistent and quality feedback to Proponents to improve the quality of post approval documentation. streamline processes and improve environmental management outcomes and implement and maintain systems to pro-actively monitor all post approval items to ensure timely reviews and signoffs.

You will bring significant experience with State significant infrastructure projects and management of post approval matters demonstrated knowledge and experience working within the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 related policies and guidelines significant knowledge of the workings of government and in-depth knowledge and experience working with applicable legislation and regulations related to renewable energy infrastructure in NSW.
A degree in environmental management engineering planning or other relevant discipline is essential. The role requires travel to worksites within NSW so also requires a willingness to travel and (minimum) Class C Drivers Licence (essential).
