Senior Scheduler-Healthcare Construction

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler to work as the lead scheduler for a large $750M Healthcare Project 5 days a week on site required in Mission Viejo California. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed master project schedules using industry-standard scheduling tools (Primavera P6).
• Integrate engineering procurement construction commissioning and closeout activities into a cohesive project timeline.
• Lead schedule development workshops with project teams subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Perform critical path analysis schedule risk assessments and scenario planning.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual performance and field input.
• Identify schedule variances delays and potential risks; recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present schedule reports dashboards and executive summaries to senior leadership and clients.
• Support claims analysis delay analysis (e.g. Time Impact Analysis) and dispute resolution when required.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements company standards and industry best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement in scheduling processes.

Qualifications :

• Degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10 years of relevant experience in construction scheduling/planning & Management.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required); familiarity with other scheduling and project controls tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience on construction projects (Healthcare Preferred).
• Deep understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.
• Experience with cost and resource loading earned value management (EVM) and schedule forecasting.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong reporting and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with risk analysis tools (e.g. Monte Carlo simulation).
• Familiarity with contract types (lump sum GMP cost-plus) and their scheduling implications.
• Experience in multi-project or program-level scheduling environments.
• Familiarity with Power BI

Additional Information :

The salary range for this full-time role is $160K-$190K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
