Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Database Administrator to join our team. As a Virtual Database Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our companys databases ensuring their security availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain the companys databases to ensure optimum performance and availability

- Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues in a timely manner

- Implement and maintain database security protocols to protect sensitive data

- Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies

- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new database systems or enhancements to existing systems

- Conduct regular database audits to identify and address any potential issues

- Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends

- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator

- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) including SQL Server Oracle and MySQL

- Experience with database security protocols and procedures

- Familiarity with data backup and recovery strategies

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. The Virtual Database Administrator will work remotely but must be available during normal business hours and be able to attend occasional in-person meetings at our Naples Florida location.
