Job Summary

Springfield Public Schools is seeking motivated reliable individuals for temporary summer employment in our Facilities Department for the 2026 summer season. If you enjoy hands-on work being part of a team and making a visible impact in your community this is a great opportunity to get involved.

We are hiring multiple team members to support a variety of essential summer projects including:

Painting
Grounds Maintenance
Furniture
HVAC Support
Locksmith Assistance
Special Projects

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 6:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m. (8.0 hours/day)
Dates: May 1 2025 August 31 2025 (flexible start dates based on availability)
Location: Various Springfield Public Schools sites
Rate of Pay: $19.75 per hour
