A leading organisation is seeking a detail-oriented Human Capital Processor to manage and support weekly wage processing across multiple operational sites.
This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll administration experience who can handle high-volume wage processing ensure compliance and work accurately under tight deadlines.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the accurate processing and validation of weekly wages ensuring all inputs allowances and adjustments are compliant with labour regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities include:
Wage Processing & Administration
Managing weekly wage submissions and ensuring all deadlines are met
Verifying and processing hours overtime allowances and back pay
Ensuring all wage inputs are authorised and accurately captured
Preparing and submitting final wage reports to site management
Timekeeping & Data Accuracy
Importing and reconciling hours from time and attendance systems
Verifying timesheets against system data and resolving discrepancies
Processing manual adjustments for employees working across multiple sites
Ensuring compliance with bargaining council rules and overtime calculations
Overtime Back Pay & Allowances
Verifying and processing authorised overtime and back pay
Ensuring all back pay is supported by documentation and approvals
Capturing and validating allowances (e.g. nightshift travel specialised duties)
Monitoring excessive overtime and escalating where required
Leave & Compliance
Processing leave transactions including sick leave and family responsibility leave
Ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate
Maintaining compliance with labour regulations and industry agreements
Third-Party & Labour Broker Coordination
Managing labour broker reports and purchase order processes
Ensuring accurate reconciliation between wage reports and third-party submissions
Coordinating submission timelines and ensuring data accuracy
Documentation & Reporting
Maintaining accurate payroll records reports and supporting documentation
Ensuring all entries are properly recorded and audit-ready
Supporting general HR and payroll administrative tasks
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Key requirements:
Grade 12 (essential)
Minimum 3 years experience in weekly wage processing
Experience working in high-volume payroll or HR environments
Strong understanding of time and attendance systems
Experience with systems such as:
Jarrison (or similar timekeeping systems)
Payroll or wage processing platforms
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
Good understanding of labour and bargaining council rules
