Compensation
Travel Rate: $48 $51/hour ($1920 $2040/week) based on experience
Local Rate: $40 $45/hour ($1600 $1800/week) based on experience
Position Overview
A well-established healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The LPN will oversee nursing assistants and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations while delivering compassionate resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
Supervise and direct daily activities of nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and regulations
Coordinate shift activities including care plans and resident services
Complete and maintain accurate documentation for admissions transfers and discharges
Communicate with physicians regarding treatment plans orders and progress notes
Receive and transcribe physician orders into resident charts and care plans
Maintain detailed and accurate nursing notes reflecting patient care and outcomes
Ensure compliance with federal state and local healthcare regulations
Promote a safe and high-quality care environment for all residents
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved LPN program
Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting
Active unrestricted LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
BLS / CPR / AED Certification required
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to provide age-appropriate care based on resident needs
