Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) Long-Term Care

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holidays
Compensation
- Travel Rate: $48 $51/hour ($1920 $2040/week) based on experience
- Local Rate: $40 $45/hour ($1600 $1800/week) based on experience
Position Overview
A well-established healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. The LPN will oversee nursing assistants and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations while delivering compassionate resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct daily activities of nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and regulations
- Coordinate shift activities including care plans and resident services
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for admissions transfers and discharges
- Communicate with physicians regarding treatment plans orders and progress notes
- Receive and transcribe physician orders into resident charts and care plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate nursing notes reflecting patient care and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local healthcare regulations
- Promote a safe and high-quality care environment for all residents
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved LPN program
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting
- Active unrestricted LPN license in the state of Massachusetts
- BLS / CPR / AED Certification required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care based on resident needs
