We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our team in our Austin TX. In this role you will lead and manage all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects overseeing site planning scheduling budgeting and resource allocation.

The Role
Leads and manages all aspects of utility construction for various types of telecom projects
Responsible for overseeing site planning scheduling budgeting and resource allocation
Supervises and coordinates onsite construction activities ensuring compliance with design specifications building codes and safety regulations
Conducts regular site inspections to monitor progress identifies potential issues or risks and implements corrective actions as needed
Manages relationships with external contractors vendors and suppliers ensuring alignment with project requirements and company standards
Prepares and maintains accurate project documentation including progress reports construction drawings permits and change orders
Communicates effectively with project stakeholders providing regular updates on project status milestones and budgetary considerations
Implements and enforces best practices for construction quality control safety protocol and environmental compliance
Works a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
10 years of total relevant telecommunications construction experience required including significant experience in a supervisory/leadership role
Knowledge and experience with aerial and underground telecom construction
Ability to travel as needed
Practical knowledge of network operations and associated inventory for both RF and fiber networks
Experience in estimating bidding projects and change order preparation
Problem-solving and like to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn custom software
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Professional demeanor
Must possess the capacity to learn adapt to change and become proficient quickly
Ability to manage stress exercise self-control adhere to company policies and uphold the mission of the organization
Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; some evenings and weekends as needed
OSHA 10 certification a plus
Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a drivers license is required if the role involves driving
