Location: Remote (South America) Compensation: $1800$2500/month (USD) Industry: Mechanical / MEP Construction (U.S. VDC Projects) Schedule: Full-time U.S. Eastern Time overlap required
About the Role
We are seeking two experienced BIM Modelers to support our Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) team on U.S.-based mechanical projects.
This role is focused on producing high-quality Revit models with a strong emphasis on HVAC ductwork systems. You will work closely with BIM coordinators engineers and project teams to develop coordinated constructible models used for fabrication and installation.
This is a production-heavy BIM role with a strong focus on accuracy duct detailing and model reliability within MEP construction workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed MEP BIM models in Revit with a strong focus on HVAC ductwork systems
Produce coordinated 3D models for construction fabrication and installation workflows
Update models based on design revisions coordination feedback and RFIs
Work within established BIM/VDC standards and project-specific execution plans
Support clash resolution efforts by implementing model adjustments as directed by coordinators
Generate 2D drawings shop drawings and model-based documentation as required
Collaborate with BIM coordinators engineers and field teams to ensure constructability
Maintain accuracy consistency and version control across all model outputs
Ideal Candidate Profile
25 years of experience in BIM modeling (MEP strongly preferred)
Strong Revit skills (mandatory) with proven HVAC ductwork modeling experience
Experience working on U.S. construction or VDC projects is a strong plus
Understanding of mechanical systems especially ductwork layout and coordination
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate them into accurate BIM models
Familiarity with Navisworks or coordination tools is a plus
Detail-oriented production-driven and comfortable working in fast-paced project cycles
Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with U.S. teams
Why This Role Matters
This role is critical to the success of VDC delivery. Your work ensures that HVAC duct systems are accurately modeled coordinated and ready for fabrication and installation in U.S. mechanical construction projects.
