General Maintenance Utility Worker

MalaceHR is seeking a dependable and motivated General Maintenance / Utility Worker to support the daily operations and upkeep of facility buildings and grounds. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks assisting with repairs supporting campus operations and ensuring the facility remains clean safe and fully operational.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on detail-oriented and capable of handling a variety of maintenance and utility responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repair tasks throughout the facility
• Assist with building upkeep cleanliness and overall appearance of the campus
• Support the installation maintenance and repair of equipment and facility systems
• Respond to general maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Assist with event setup and breakdown activities as needed
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables throughout the facility
• Deliver supplies materials and equipment to various departments or campus locations
• Conduct basic inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a safe and organized manner
• Follow all company safety procedures and workplace guidelines
• Support additional facility operations duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance utility custodial or facilities experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and hand tools
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting bending walking and standing for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Frequent standing walking climbing bending and reaching
