Job Title- Principal Platform Architect Cloud & SaaS Architecture

Location-Remote (USA)

Duration- Full Time

What You Will Do-

• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to define and execute a multi year platform architecture roadmap.
• Design and document a scalable modular cloud native architecture that enables shared services unified data models and cross product interoperability.
• Act as the architectural owner for initiatives that advance platform maturity including data model consolidation single sign on (SSO) customer onboarding and common administration.
• Partner closely with Data and AI teams to align platform design with analytics reporting and AI integration frameworks.
• Provide hands on technical leadership by reviewing designs building reference implementations and mentoring teams in modern architecture and DevOps best practices.
• Establish and govern architecture principles standards and reusable patterns across APIs event driven systems data flows and security.
• Lead modernization efforts toward containerized Infrastructure as Code (IaC) managed service oriented architectures.
• Partner with DevOps teams to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines observability and automated environments.
• Evaluate tools frameworks and cloud solutions to drive long term maintainability performance and cost efficiency.

What You Have-

• 8 years of software engineering experience including 5 years in a Senior or Lead Architect role within a SaaS environment.
• Proven success designing and implementing enterprise scale cloud native architectures (Core/C#) and Java ecosystems.
• Strong experience with Angular front end frameworks and RESTful or GraphQL API design.
• Deep knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server Oracle MySQL) including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with AI/ML services data pipelines and modern analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Experience leading architecture modernization microservices adoption and cross product integration initiatives.
• Excellent communication and influence skills with the ability to align executives and engineering teams around a cohesive architectural vision.
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
