Job Summary

Work Schedule:

100% FTE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. You will work at UW Health Charles Street Clinic 2404 Charles St.

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA AAMA CCMA or NCCT) to:

Perform a variety of patient care duties including taking vital signs recording patient histories EKGs medication reconciliation specimen collections. Under the authority and delegation of a physician may perform certain other tasks or duties. Alerts provider/nurse of emergent patient needs.

Prepares patients for examination treatment and procedures.

Provide quality care in a compassionate environment where teamwork is highly valued and exceptionalism and innovation are encouraged.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening night and weekend shift differential

Overtime

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
Computer experience. Required

Licenses & Certifications

RMA AAMA CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required
Active RMA AAMA CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
