POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Reports directly to the Director of Operations
- Provide strong leadership to salaried and hourly employees across the facility
- Lead daily and weekly meetings to set direction align priorities and drive accountability
- Manage and execute projects with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Foster a positive work environment through team building and effective communication
- Act as the primary liaison with corporate partners and onsite customers
- Direct coordinate and evaluate work activities processes and team performance
- Implement and sustain Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
- Establish track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze data and generate productivity reports to support business decisions
- Develop and manage operational budgets in alignment with company and customer expectations
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment and adherence to company policies
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering or related field
OR minimum 7 years of relevant operations experience - Experience in third-party logistics (3PL) or warehousing environments required
- Strong knowledge of:
- Part sequencing
- Just-in-Time (JIT) / Just-in-Sequence (JIS)
- Value-added services (kitting deconsolidation metering)
- Proven leadership and customer-facing experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Root Cause Analysis
- Experience conducting Layered Process Audits (LPA)
- Proficiency with ERP and/or WMS systems
- Demonstrated success in launching new operations or leading turnarounds
- Ability to be available as needed (including after hours)
- First responder mindset with the ability to react quickly in critical situations
Location: On-site in Philadelphia PA
Schedule/ Shift: Monday to Friday 8AM 4PM
Travel Requirements:Initial travel to other sites for training
Over Time:Possible weekends
