Job Summary

Position Title: Classroom Teacher-Introduction to PATH

Position Type: Exempt

Reports To: Building Principal

Supervises: Students and their learning within classroom lab and work-based environment

as assigned by the Building Principal.

Primary Function: To provide students with foundational knowledge and hands-on skills aligned
with college and career readiness standards through the Introduction to PATH
course. The teacher will deliver instruction based on industry-aligned content
including the National Center for Construction Education and Research Core
Curriculum ensuring students are prepared for advanced Career and Technical
Education (CTE) pathways and workforce opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. (Required)
  • Valid Mississippi teaching license or eligibility for licensure. (Preferred endorsement: 916 Exploring Careers or applicable CTE endorsement)
  • Experience in construction manufacturing or related technical field. (Preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver hands-on instruction and manage a lab-based learning environment.
  • Strong communication organization and classroom management skills.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Terms of Employment: 187 Days
Evaluation: Subject to provisions of School Board policies on performance evaluations.
Salary: Salary Schedule TO1Y-TO4Y based on degree and experience
