Job Summary
System Innovation (SI) is part of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Innovation Management and System Enablement (IM&SE) at NXP.
The System Innovation (SI) group serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Business Lines GSM and customers driving forward-looking system and application innovations across NXP. The team accelerates insight creation by developing and demonstrating tangible system and application proofofconcepts that showcase NXPs capabilities both internally and to external customers. With a strong focus on anticipating future technology trends the group gathers and translates innovative system and application insights into meaningful input for BL roadmaps. System Innovation also cultivates and maintains strong partnerships across customers and the broader ecosystemincluding universities research institutes and collaborative project consortiato enhance innovation and accelerate new business development. By supporting emerging markets and integrating technologies IP and products across all NXP entities the group enables crossportfolio solutions that highlight the full potential of NXPs competencies and technology leadership.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager with a strong technical background who can understand the key challenges technical aspects and strategic goals of our projects. This role focuses on innovation-driven projects rather than NPI including subsidyfunded initiatives longterm innovation (LTI) programs and NXP businessfunded projects. You will work closely with external partners and navigate a broader ecosystem of stakeholders ensuring alignment collaboration and delivery excellence.
The ideal candidate brings structure to projects teams and stakeholder interactions. You will be responsible for planning tracking schedules and costs monitoring progress and guaranteeing the completion of deliverables. Strong reporting to management and stakeholders is essentialclear accurate and actionable communication is expected. A proactive mindset is key: you should take early and decisive actions to keep projects on track identify risks and drive solutions.
This position requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment manages multiple demands and ensures that projects progress predictably from concept through execution.
Job Qualification
- Bachelors or masters degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field
- 35 years of experience in a Project Manager role
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple small projects (35 FTE) in parallel
- Brings strong structure to projects teams and stakeholder reporting ensuring clarity alignment and predictable execution
- Strong communication skills with a solution-oriented and motivational approach
- Effective communicator: able to articulate ideas clearly and concisely tailor messages to different audiences and present information in a way that motivates teams
- Proactive in ambiguous environments: capable of progressing despite unclear or evolving situations finding compromises and defining scope and boundaries to create structure
- Strong follow-through: consistently tracks project status keeps stakeholders informed ensures team members understand responsibilities reallocates resources to overcome challenges and escalates issues when needed
- Self-driven with strong stakeholder management skills to achieve results
- Clear and compelling presenter with strong storytelling abilities and the capacity to influence others
Remarks
The position requires to work on-site in NXP Eindhoven office minimum 3 days per week.
