Roles and Responsibilities
Work closely with project managers and process leaders providing advice and guidance across the regions to ensure compliance with standards continuous development of people and processes and effective management of budget and resource-have a deep understanding of the financial data associated with the addition work with multiple businesses and teams to gather process and system data for integrating into a centralized service management system.
Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.
Testing preparation
Prepare master data
Prepare test scripts
Initiate necessary documents in ALM
Testing
Execute approved scenarios
Review high risk defects with functional owners
Manage defect documentation in ALM
Follow up defect resolution
Own daily status update and relevant issue resolution with IT counterparts
Release
Own business sanity testing
Hypercare
Log and follow up hypercare tickets
Ad hoc testing support to functional owners for emergency release segments
Authority:
Authority to execute and coordinate all assigned testing activities including test preparation execution and documentation within the defined project scope
Authority to manage defect lifecycle in ALM including logging tracking follow-up and escalation of issues to IT and functional teams
Authority to perform business sanity testing during release phases and confirm system readiness within agreed testing criteria
Required Qualifications
This role requires basic experience in the Services & Digital Business Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Fluent English (written and spoken) is required
Understanding of business processes and how they connect to system and data flows
Experience in test preparation and execution (e.g. test scripts test cases defect management)
Familiarity with test management tools such as ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) is required or strongly preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders across regions

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in testing and documentation activities
Proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to escalate issues appropriately when needed
