Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in documentation. Capable of working under supervision and adhering to precise instructions. Demonstrates compassion and a patient-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage hearing aid operations: ordering repairs inventory and patient follow-up.
- Perform basic audiologic procedures: calibration checks otoscopic inspections and hearing tests.
- Assist audiologists with pediatric and adult audiometry and hearing aid fittings.
- Conduct hearing aid orientations and demonstrate assistive listening devices (ALDs).
- Maintain audiology supply inventory and complete necessary documentation.
- Complete administrative tasks including patient calls and correspondence.
