Key Responsibilities
Audit & Assurance
- Coordinate internal statutory and tax audits including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
- Support implementation of audit recommendations and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Assist with audit planning and facilitation.
- Review financial statements and disclosures for audit readiness.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare and publish monthly/quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports covering financial tax and compliance metrics.
- Analyse trends variances and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management insights.
- Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with internal departments (Accounting Legal Audit Operations) to gather information and ensure compliance with tax policies.
- Coordinate with external advisors consultants and auditors for technical support.
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
Skills:
- Proficient in MIS preparation and reporting Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Navision
- Knowledge of Indian Direct Tax and Indirect Tax (GST) laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CMA
Experience:
- 23 years of relevant experience in audit MIS reporting and compliance.
- Hands on experience in Navision ERP or Oracle
Candidates from manufacturing FMCG consumer durables will be preferred.
