Overview

We are currently accepting applications to support multiple projects in Nevada.

Rotation: Project dependent most commonly 14/7

Shift: 12 Hours (Days and Nights)

Lodging & Food: Lodging OR Living / Subsistence Allowance will be provided.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of Alcohol and Drug Screening

MSHA Part 48

All Field Based Workers and Equipment Operators must

Be physically conditioned to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.

Work a rotational schedule up to 12 hours a day for both day or night shifts as required and subject to change depending on project needs.

Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job.

Be prepared for and willing to perform additional labour duties as / when required.

Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether its rain shine or snow youll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform work in support of Project Scope mandate.

Maintain a courteous and professional relationship with clients. Respond to inquiries promptly and carry out work as required to satisfy client requests and project quality standards.

Assist maintenance in scheduling equipment preventative maintenance or repair.

Motivate inspire observe and delegate tasks to crew.

Inspire productivity promote training and cross training and create a positive team culture.

Build a level of knowledge and understanding of safety practices scheduling techniques trade knowledge and employee engagement.

Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.

Communicate effectively with supervisors other operators and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.

Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgans Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies by demonstrating a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Maintain awareness of the surrounding environment and potential hazards such as other equipment or personnel. Perform JSA and FLHAs as required.

Demonstrate exceptional judgement and problem solving skills.

Demonstrating versatility in collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.

Operate 2-way radio

Perform labour duties as / when required.

Assist ground personnel as / when required.

Other duties as / when assigned

Experience / Qualification Requirements

Our ideal candidates will have:

Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Site Supervisor on heavy civil earthworks for mining lease construction highway construction dam/dyke construction landfill construction underground utility installation pad building pad extensions infills sub prep stripping and/or dirt management projects is required.

Expert level experience as an excavator dozer or grader operator.

Pay Range

USD $35.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
