Talenmark is recruiting for a R&D Manager to join a company in Materials Manufacturing industry at their site based in Preston on a permanent basis.

The Role:
- To lead and coordinate the research development and technical services function across all site competence.
- Liaise with your team Sales Production Planning Production Management Quality / HSE Maintenance and Purchasing by providing technical support for any new or ongoing development projects.
- Contribute as necessary to the design/formulation of new products.
- Identify new materials and technologies available in the market.
- Masters degree or a PHD qualification in a science related subject such as chemistry applied chemistry or material science.
- Accomplished senior manager within a complex manufacturing environment working within a technical or research and development function with responsibilities for tecnical support new product or process development.
