Our challenge

We are looking for Lead the development of cutting-edge sales technology platforms that enhance front-office operations and drive revenue growth. Manage architectural decisions and coordinate development teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that meet business needs

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other accordance with law the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto ON is CAD $110k CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of front-office sales technology platforms.
• Drive software architecture decisions ensuring robustness scalability and security.
• Oversee and guide development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in Sales and Trading to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• Maintain code quality perform code reviews and implement best practices in software development.
• Keep updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Java (17) Python.
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies such as Angular and React.
• Proven experience in system design and architecture.
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets preferably in Equities.
• Excellent leadership communication and team management skills.
• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field.

Preferred but not required:

• Hands-on with Angular/React and solid understanding of system design architecture and leading development teams.
  Good exposure to Capital Markets (Equities preferred) with ability to work closely with business stakeholders.
