MAX RATE: $39.77/hr W2 (No health benefits no PTO while on contract-an hour worked is an hour paid)
LOCATION: Jacksonville FL (no relocation package)

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for various HR functions ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and fostering a positive work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles excellent communication
skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
- Process employee data including new hires terminations and benefits changes
- Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed
Benefits Administration:
- Assist with benefits administration including enrollment changes and terminations
- Communicate benefits information to employees and provide support with benefits-related inquiries
Communication and Training:
- Communicate HR policies procedures and updates to employees and management
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance and support to employees on company policies procedures and benefits
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns in a fair and timely manner
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention
Recruitment and Hiring:
- Assist with the recruitment process including job postings interviews and candidate selection
- Assist with new hire onboarding orientation and I9s.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure compliance with company hiring policies and procedures
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations
REQUIRED SKILLS:
At least 3 years of working in HR
Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient in HR software and systems including HRIS and benefits administration platforms
Proficient in Microsoft 365 platforms. (i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint Teams etc.)
SKILLS PREFERRED:
Strong analytical skills
Ability to build power-point presentations
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
3-5 years of experience in human resources or a related field required.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Experience working in a shipyard or manufacturing environment with skilled trades preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
