AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Spray Dryer Operator to be located in Crossville TN. Reporting to the Powder Prep Supervisor.

JOB DUTIES:

• Operate heavy equipment to loadweighbox and push up new incoming loads of clay.â
• Lifting grinding media that weighs 55 lbs. repeatedly.â
• Learn the controls and operation of the ball mills.â
• Maintain anddo testingon Ball Mill (density viscosity residue test).â
• Deal with suppliers and truck drivers keeping track of material quantities.â
• Learn how to navigate and program the batching screen in the Ball Mill Control Room.â
• Keep lump breaker area and pit free of spilled material.â
• Multi-task by watching belts screens etc. to ensure smooth operation.â
• Operate a forklift and front-end loader.â
• Learn andmaintainthe hoses and connections needed to pump slip where it belongs.â
• Clean floors and equipment to avoid contamination.â
• Complete 5S and TPMs and all other necessary paperwork.âââ
• UseGembaboard to effectively communicate issues.â
• Communicate effectively with co-workers Supervisors and other Departments as needed.â
• Cross-train in order to work all Powder Prep positions if needed.
• Work on Kaizen for continuous improvement.â
• Follow safety guidelines and company standardsutilizingPersonal Protection Equipment.â
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.â
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.â
• Perform any other duties that may berequiredor assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees management and vendors
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to work holidays.â
• Must be available to work overtime as necessary and work other shifts as necessary may be called in during abnormal hours
• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test physical and criminal background check

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent climbing bending standing walking at a brisk pace 8 hours a day squatting reaching pushing and pulling
• Occasional lifting 80 pounds either alone or with the assistance of another employee in conformity with lifting techniques detailed in safety policies and training materials
• Frequent dexterity with hands for use of tools
• Frequently vision must be sufficient to see tools and equipment clearly
• Frequent hearing with the use of ear protection
• Frequent ability to tolerate and work at heights
