Job Summary

Lead a high-performing sales team to drive event revenue secure new business and deliver exceptional client experiences across Arts Centre Melbournes conference and event venues.

About the Position

The Senior Event Sales Manager is a pivotal leadership role within Arts Centre Melbournes Conferences Meetings & Events team responsible for driving revenue growth strengthening client relationships and positioning the organisation as a premier events destination. Leading a small high-performing sales team you will identify and convert new business opportunities nurture existing and past client relationships and deliver strategic sales initiatives across corporate association government and private event markets.

This role combines commercial acumen with creativity requiring a proactive and solutions-focused approach to developing tailored proposals maximising venue utilisation and contributing to financial forecasting and departmental performance. Working collaboratively across internal teams and external partners you will ensure a seamless transition from sale to event delivery while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

As a senior leader you will coach and mentor your team foster a positive and inclusive culture and influence continuous improvement across systems processes and stakeholder engagementplaying a key role in shaping the future growth and success of Arts Centre Melbournes events business.

Band 3.3 Full Time Ongoing $919700 (pro rata) 12% superannuation
