Job Summary
Backend engineer build the platform that powers Amazons Last Mile Product and Technology experience. Our mission-critical services that enable seamless check-in route pickup and checkout at global scale
Join us to build scalable mission-critical platforms that power Amazons driver start-of-day and end-of-day workflows.
You will work closely with Product Operations and partner engineering teams to deliver reliable high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate has strong ownership solid system design skills and the ability to build scalable systems that operate at global scale.

Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable fault-tolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
About the team
Last mile Tech team we build the platform that powers Amazons Last Mile Product and Technology experience. Our mission-critical services that enable seamless Transporter Experience to check-in route pickup and checkout at global scale
- 4 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 4 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
