What does a great Account Manager do

A great Account Manager at Travelport is the trusted partner for our customerssomeone who knows the Austrian travel landscape inside out and can turn that knowledge into real business impact. Youll be the face of Travelport for a portfolio of mid-tier agencies and partners building relationships that go beyond transactions. This isnt a role where you wait for instructions; its about taking ownership spotting opportunities and driving growth with confidence and creativity.

Youll translate complex technology into clear value for customers helping them succeed in a fast-changing travel environment. Every day youll combine commercial acumen with local market expertise to deliver solutions that matter. Responsibilities include:

• Own and manage a portfolio of mid-tier travel agency accounts in Austria driving retention growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute account plans that leverage deep knowledge of the Austrian travel market to deliver customer success and competitive advantage.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers building strong relationships and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
• Negotiate and renew contracts ensuring alignment with Travelports commercial objectives and customer needs.
• Operate as a self-starterindependently prioritizing problem-solving and mobilizing internal resources to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Who we are looking for in this role:

• Deep understanding of the Austrian travel industry including key players market dynamics and distribution trends.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiativecomfortable operating as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in account management contract negotiation and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
