Shift: Day Shift (3x12-Hour 7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in telemetry monitoring and the ability to manage a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias
- Administer medications IV therapies and blood products
- Perform patient assessments and respond to changes in condition
- Utilize rapid response and code protocols when necessary
- Manage central lines PICC lines and peripheral IVs
- Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry experience
- EPIC experience required
- Required Certifications:
- Strong skills in telemetry monitoring and acute care nursing
