We are pleased to invite experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking professional compassionate nurses who can commit to full-time or part-time hours (at least three days per week) and who are eager to work within a supportive dynamic hospital environment where teamwork and high-quality patient care are truly valued.

St John of God Bunbury Hospital offers services in cardiac care interventional cardiology cancer treatment renal dialysis elective surgery trauma & emergency surgery general medicine and palliative care.

Our hospital is large enough to provide a range of specialities and small enough to foster strong connections and team bonding among caregivers ensuring compassionate patient centred care.

Opportunity for shifts across

  • Coronary care

  • Medical

  • Surgical

  • Palliative

  • Renal

  • Oncology

We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle

  • Monday to Sunday morning and afternoon shift is 7 hours

  • Monday to Sunday night shift is 10 hours

The Position:

  • Assesses plans delivers and evaluates patient care seeking support from senior staff as required.

  • Promotes and contributes to effective communication facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.

  • Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.

  • Supports and supervises staff and students as required including orientating and preceptoring staff. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.

You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team and have a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

We can offer you

  • Salary Registered Nurse: $82945 to $106630 (pro-rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation

  • Salary Enrolled Nurse: $72637 to $77480 (pro-rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
