Position Details:

• Job Type:PRN/Registry
• Schedule:Be able to work at least 3 shifts in a month
• Work Location:In-person at our Bloomington Eye Institute

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
• Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room (OR) Critical Care or Recovery Room preferred but not required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Able to work independently & effectively in a team environment.
• Can work in a stressful environment while continuing to be friendly and welcoming to both customers and co-workers.
• BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient interviews perform pre-testing and manage admissions and discharges with proper documentation
• Circulate in the procedure room and administer IV conscious sedation as needed
• Transcribe and implement physicians orders accurately
• Perform IV punctures dispense medications and carry out venipunctures
• Monitor and recognize patient rhythms
• Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures ensuring a safe environment for patients visitors and staff
• Communicate effectively regarding patient care and personnel matters

Pay:The starting range for this position is $33.00 - $38.31/hr. depending on skills experience and qualifications as well as market considerations
