Exciting opportunity with a well-established & QLD owned property developer who deliver retail & commercial projects across Brisbane. This progressive and award-winning business own their land design build and manage the commercial builds.
With a strong portfolio of projects South of Brisbane they are currently looking for a Construction Administrator to support projects to ensure the smooth running of site supporting the construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied fast-paced role working for a progressive company.
Reporting to the Project Manager responsibilities will include but not limited to include:
- Provide high-level administrative support to project and team
- Ensure relevant contractor documentation is registered through Hammertech system
- Complete and manage subcontractor and plant onboarding compliance and approvals
- Prepare and submit purchase orders
- Process progress claims and invoices
- Manage all site and HSE documents data and systems in all formats
- Assisting with site inductions training and auditing
- Assist with incident safety inspections and pre-start meetings and any other safety communications
- Ensure safety standards are kept to an ultimate high and are followed by site staff and subcontractors
- Order and maintain PPE stationery and materials
- Liaise with contractors and manage invitation to tender/ proposal documentation
- Document Control
- Work collaboratively with others at all levels across our diverse workforce
The successful individual will have previous experience in a similar role motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Beneficial to have worked within the commercial & retail construction industry. This person will enjoy playing a key role on site offering variety and career growth. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to multitask with high attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Suite i.e Outlook Microsoft Word & Excel. Desirable to have Hammertech experience.
