Android Development Engineer, Last Mile Platform Services, SDE

As a Software Development Engineer within the Flex Mobile Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast fluid and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide.

A day in the life
Our team forms the foundation of the Amazon Flex platform supporting multiple feature teams and enabling hundreds of thousands of delivery partners worldwide. The teams in-depth engineering practices and robust system design have resulted in excellent platform stability. We maintain efficient operations and well-structured on-call processes. - 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5 years of leading Mobile design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing Android systems with Kotlin and KMP.

- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
