- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with ARCs strategic objectives and research priorities.
- Identify map and prioritise stakeholders relevant to ARCs research and outreach activities.
- Manage and nurture ongoing relationships with government bodies research institutions industry partners and community stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder engagement events workshops and forums to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor stakeholder feedback and engagement outcomes; prepare regular reports for senior management and funding bodies.
- Support communication efforts related to ARCs projects and initiatives including crisis communication when necessary.
- Represent the ARC at external forums conferences and sector events to strengthen partnerships and visibility.
- Provide support and assistance to the Senior Manager as and when required.
- A Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Communication / Public Relations or a relevant qualification.
- At least three (3) years experience in marketing and communications or related field.
- Proven track record in managing complex stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
- Honours Degree will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the agricultural research environment and government structures will be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal negotiation and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work under constrained situations without compromising the quality of the work.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Valid drivers license.
