The Leidos Security Operations Global Resilience team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Security Analyst Intern to help develop business continuity plans monitor emerging threats and hazards that could impact employees or operations and conduct risk assessments to support personnel safety awareness and operational resilience. The Intern will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment focused on mitigating risk and strengthening Leidos ability to operate safely and adapt quickly all while remaining competitive.
Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor global and domestic events using open-source and internal platforms to identify potential threats hazards or disruptions to personnel and operations.
Support the development and dissemination of situational awareness products including summaries alerts and advisories.
Collaborate with cross-enterprise teams to gather information and support continuity and response planning efforts.
Help maintain Global Resilience tools dashboards and communication channels to ensure operational readiness.
Contribute to after-action reports lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in International Studies International Relations Emergency Management Homeland Security Intelligence or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills especially in time-sensitive environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks during dynamic situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using open-source information (OSINT) platforms to monitor and analyze emerging threats and hazards.
Experience conducting or supporting risk assessments threat or hazard analysis or continuity planning efforts.
Experience supporting event monitoring reporting or coordination activities.
Experience working in a cross-functional team-based environment.
Previous internship or academic project experience related to international relations security continuity or emergency management.
Proficiency in a foreign language proficiency.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $41600.00 - $75200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
