KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and Implement Student Accommodations and Support Services
- Conduct interactive processes and review accommodation requests in compliance with ADA guidelines.
- Manage and ensure delivery of reasonable accommodations including alternate formats (electronic audio braille large-print).
- Provide academic support by monitoring student progress and offering guidance.
Lead Assistive Technology Services
- Oversee the selection upgrade and implementation of assistive technology.
- Recommend purchases and provide training to students on technology use.
Foster Collaboration and Outreach
- Partner with faculty campus departments and external organizations to enhance student support.
- Present information effectively through workshops or outreach events.
- Travel between campuses to maintain equitable access to services.
Maintain Operational Excellence and Compliance
- Manage confidential student records in a secure accessible system.
- Demonstrate independent problem-solving and teamwork in complex situations.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental goals.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelors degree in special education social sciences psychology rehabilitation or a related field or three years of equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of disabilities assistive technology and experience in higher education
Familiarity with Section 504 ADA (1990 Amended 2010) and relevant laws
Experience assessing disability documentation and determining accommodations
Excellent teamwork communication organization and computer skills including assistive technology applications
Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred

While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring managers discretion.
