A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room (ER). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced high-acuity environment supporting a multidisciplinary team in delivering critical and emergency care services.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
Assess triage and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Manage patients requiring advanced respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP
Provide care for ventilated patients and assist with airway management
Perform central line care and maintenance
Monitor neurological status and respond to changes promptly
Utilize cardiac monitoring and respond to emergency situations
Adhere to infection control protocols including isolation precautions and PPE use
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Qualifications
Experience:
Recent ER experience required
Experience in high-acuity or trauma settings preferred
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Licensure & Certifications (Required):
Active RN License (State of Texas or compact license)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
