Job Summary

The Governing Body of Meadowside School wish to appoint a full time Specialist Classroom Teacher on a permanent contract to start in September 2026.

This is a school for approximately 110 pupils aged from 11 to 19 whose needs range from moderate learning difficulties through to severe and complex needs with related disabilities and health problems.

We require a teacher preferably with relevant experience to join our very friendly and supportive team. Applicants should have experience of working with pupils with PMLD SLD and complex and challenging behaviour. The post holder will undertake a curriculum co-ordinator role with subject/domain negotiable dependent on areas of strength.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post requires an enhanced DBS check. Full induction will be given with opportunities for further training.
