Service Porter (Part Time) Concord Honda

Summary

The Service Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealerships appearance assisting with vehicle movement and delivering exceptional customer service.
This entry-level position is ideal for candidates interested in pursuing a career in the automotive industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude answers their questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment. Records customers name VIN tag number mileage and existing vehicle damage (walk around)
• Move and park vehicles in the dealership premises and to maintain flow of traffic.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane service stalls and parking lot as needed.
• Keep the dealership lot driveways and sidewalks clean organized and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Retrieve customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; wait at vehicle for customer thank customers for their business.
• Install disposable seat covers steering wheel covers floor mats and I.D. tags in all the vehicles taken in for service.
• Support service departments with various tasks as required (i.e. Replenish vehicle fluids and minor vehicle assistance tasks)
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications :

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Physically able to drive and move vehicles
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealerships professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing background check MVR.

Preferred Experience:

• Recent completion of an automotive program or some automotive experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus.

Additional Information :

(The Service Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.00.)

Schedule:

• Part Time
• Monday Tuesday and Saturday availability
• Shift: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Must be available to work days/hours of shift.
