Your Mission:

The Production Controller I supports the preparation and coordination of welding work packages and materials

using ERP systems. This entry-level role assists in interpreting blueprints and specifications ensuring proper weld and fit sequences and maintaining accurate documentation. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to support production activities and ensure readiness for fabrication.

Explore the Depth of the Role:

Assist in breaking down welding work packages for shop floor use

Support the preparation and organization of work packages in alignment with weld and fit sequences

Read and interpret basic blueprints drawings and specifications with guidance

Assist in ensuring materials are available and staged prior to production

Maintain and organize project documentation and records

Communicate routine issues to supervisors or senior team members

Support coordination between engineering and shop floor personnel

Maintain weld records and assist with documentation accuracy

Mission Readiness:

Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications

0-3 years experience in manufacturing fabrication or related field preferred

High school diploma or equivalent required

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be required

Physical Requirements:

May be required to stand walk sit reach/pull/push with hands and arms climb or balance stoop or kneel regularly.

May lift or carry 25lbs. Weights exceeding 25lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver
