Job Title: Accounts Senior
Salary: Up to 40000 (DOE)
Location: Northampton
Working Pattern: Flexible hours (MondayFriday 8:00 AM 6:00 PM)

A well-established and growing accountancy practice in Northampton is looking for a talented Accounts Senior to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety values flexibility and wants genuine progression within a modern firm.

Youll work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries gaining exposure to both accounting and tax while also contributing to advisory work that makes a real impact.

What youll be doing

• Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies and unincorporated businesses

• Completing corporation tax and personal tax computations

• Assisting with management accounts and delivering meaningful financial insights

• Supporting advisory projects and helping clients make informed decisions

• Managing a varied client portfolio and building strong client relationships

• Ensuring compliance with current accounting and tax regulations

What were looking for

• ACA / ACCA qualified part-qualified or qualified by experience

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential

• Strong technical knowledge in accounts preparation and tax

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise workload effectively

• A proactive team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
