Senior Building Surveyor

Are you ready to take your surveying expertise to the next level Were looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to join our dynamic Kier Design team in Nottingham Speke Cambridge Gerrards Cross or Lincoln. Youll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative design and professional services across diverse sectors shaping the built environment for both public and private clients. This position involves travel for site inspections and client meetings across varied UK locations. Location: Nottingham Speke Cambridge Gerrards Cross or Lincoln - remote working available with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired just let us know when you speak to us. Salary : 45000 - 55000 per year benefits We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role What will you be responsible for As a Senior Building Surveyor youll be working within the Architecture & Building Consultancy team supporting them in delivering expert surveying services to both public and private sector clients. Your role will include conducting detailed building surveys preparing condition reports and advising on maintenance improvements development or demolition. Youll provide guidance on compliance health & safety sustainability planning and building regulations ensuring clients receive practical tailored solutions. Your day to day will include: Conducting detailed building surveys and preparing comprehensive condition reports with practical recommendations Providing expert guidance on building regulations sustainability options and compliance requirements Managing projects from inception to completion including budget control and stakeholder engagement Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative client-focused solutions Mentoring junior colleagues and sharing your expertise across the wider team building strong client relationships and contribute to business development What are we looking for This role of Senior Building Surveyor is great for you if: You hold MRICS qualification with relevant experience in building surveying across diverse sectors You have excellent project management skills with experience in JCT/NEC contracts Youre passionate about delivering quality sustainable solutions that exceed client expectations You enjoy building meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients alike Youre organised detail-oriented and can balance multiple priorities effectively Rewards and benefits Were proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
