Section Foreman

Were looking for a Section Foreperson to join our United Utilities Framework based in Greater Manchester Location: Eccles Greater Manchester Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired just let us know when you speak to us. As a Section Foreperson youll play a vital role in supervising site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely efficiently and to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills whilst working on meaningful infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities. What will you be responsible for As a Section Foreperson youll be working within the our United Utilities Framework supporting them in delivering high-quality construction projects across the region. Your day-to-day will include: Supervising daily activities within your assigned section ensuring all work is completed safely and meets project specifications Coordinating site labour plant and materials to maintain smooth operations aligned with project schedules Monitoring progress and proactively communicating any delays or issues to the Site Manager Ensuring full compliance with health safety environmental and quality requirements Reading and interpreting technical drawings to guide operatives and subcontractors effectively What are we looking for This role of Section Foreperson is great for you if: You have experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry You hold relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Construction SSSTS/SMSTS CSCS card) You possess a strong understanding of construction methods and health and safety regulations You can read and interpret technical drawings and specifications You have a full driving licence and flexibility to work across various locations Were all about finding potential here at Kier and transferrable skills are always welcome!
