Job Summary
Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Vestal New York
Duration: 16 Weeks (Contract with high possibility of extension)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 5x8 Hours (6:30 AM 2:45 PM / facility may vary within shift window)
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid break
Pay Package:
- Local Pay: $1320 per week
- Travel Pay: $1611 per week
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality care in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting. The ideal candidate will support residents with daily care needs while ensuring safety comfort and adherence to care plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to residents in a long-term care environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and condition changes
- Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with RNs physicians and healthcare staff
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Support a respectful and patient-centered care environment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
- Active New York State LPN License
- BLS Certification required
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
