Job Title: Qualified Audit Senior / Experienced Part-Qualified Audit Semi-Senior
Salary: 40000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Northampton
Working Hours: Flexible MondayFriday between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM

Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Audit Senior or experienced part-qualified Audit Semi-Senior to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion for a varied client base
• Supervise mentor and review the work of junior team members ensuring high standards of delivery
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with regulatory and professional requirements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships acting as a key point of contact throughout engagements

Group Audits & Consolidations

• Take a lead role in auditing groups of companies including consolidated financial statements
• Work closely with senior team members to ensure group accounts are accurate and compliant
• Gain hands-on experience in complex group structures and reporting requirements

Accounts & Tax

• Prepare financial statements including consolidated accounts
• Prepare and review corporation tax computations
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations and deadlines

Advisory & Development

• Contribute to advisory assignments and specialist projects
• Support clients with accounting and tax-related queries
• Develop a broad understanding of accounting and taxation across multiple sectors

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in audit within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards
• Experience with group audits and consolidated accounts is advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
