MVHS is looking for a passionate high-energy Defensive Line Coach to join our football staff and help build a dominant disciplined front. This role is about more than drills and technique. We are seeking a teacher of the game who can develop young men in effort toughness accountability and football IQ.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement defensive line techniques fundamentals and drills

-Teach stance alignment key reads and block destruction

-Reinforce our defensive system and terminology

-Use film to teach recognition reaction and playmaking

-Collaborate with the defensive staff to execute game plans

-Build strong relationships with players while maintaining high standards

-Support off-season development (strength conditioning and camps)

Qualifications:

-A strong understanding of defensive line play (fronts fits pass rush and run defense)

-Ability to reach and simplify complex concepts

-High level of energy organization and communication

-Commitment to player development on and off the field

-Candidates are desired to haveexperience and knowledge in coaching at the high school and/or college levels. Previous coaching or playing experience preferred.
