Role Overview
Merkle isseekinga motivated and enthusiastic Engagement Manager to join our team in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to leadmedium tolarge-scale Salesforce implementations. AsanEngagement Manager you willbe responsible formanaging end-to-end enterprise-level projects fostering clientrelationshipsand ensuring that solutions are successfully implemented. You will also take ownership of project documentation testingand ensure that internal and client expectations are consistently exceeded.

Main Responsibilities

  • Project Plan Preparation & Ownership: Take full ownership of project planningpreparationand execution ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and timelines.

  • Accountability for Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end project delivery ensuring that the project stays on track within budget meets quality standards and is delivered on time.

  • Task Allocation: Effectivelyallocatetasks to the project team ensuring clarity on rolesresponsibilitiesand timelines.

  • Risk & Issue Management:Identifypotential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and manage them proactively to avoid project delays.

  • Project Team Leadership: Lead andparticipatein project teams coordinating the implementation of project deliverables and ensuring smooth collaboration across departments.

  • Documentation Creation: Develop essential project documentation such as Project Plans Status Reports Risk Logs etc. ensuring all project activities are tracked and communicated effectively.

  • Development Task Monitoring:Assistin monitoring and supporting the delivery of development tasks ensuring high-quality technical implementation in alignment with client requirements.

  • Solution Design Guidance: Work closely with the delivery team to guide and advise on technical design and implementation ensuring adherence to client requirements.

  • Technical Quality Assurance: Ensure thatgood designprinciples and technical quality standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Management Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to management offering insights into project statusrisksand mitigation strategies.

  • Change Management: Effectively manage changes in the project scope ensuring smooth adaptation and alignment with the clients evolving needs.

  • Project Handover: Manage the handover of the project to the customer or support teams ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.

  • Commit toacquiringat least one Salesforce certification within the first 6 months of employment.

Experience and Education

  • 3-5 years of experience managing IT Projects

  • Significant business experience using various project and program management methodologies in a variety of environments.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM
