We are looking to recruit a part time qualified Occupational Therapist in the Children with Disabilities Team. Who like us is committed to making a real difference to the lives of children young people and their families.

You will work within ateam of Social Workers Family Support staff and another Occupational Therapist in their efforts to identify and address the needs of some of the most vulnerable children within our society.

You will carry a varied workload ranging from initial assessments assessment for equipment and adaptations in the home and reviewing provided equipment working closely with Social workers to identify the best way to meet the needs of the young person and their family.

Along with excellent written and verbalcommunication skills you will be a qualifiedOccupational Therapist have a working knowledge of relevant legislation and have proven organisational skills along with the ability to be flexible in your response to demands as required. You will be expected to work with a certain amount of autonomy but will be accountable to the responsible Team Leader.

We are also looking for staff who will work to and embrace the principles and values of the Promise in Scotland.
