Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Sub-Acute / Long-Term Care

Location: Edison NJ (08820)
Duration: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week (5 Days/Week 8 Hours/Day)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Holiday Requirement: 4 out of 6 Holidays
Float Requirement: Yes

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients in a Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care (SAR/LTC) this role you will deliver high-quality patient-centered care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff ensuring comfort safety and dignity for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing grooming toileting oral hygiene and bed making
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Measure and record vital signs; promptly report abnormalities
• Perform glucose monitoring and assist with specimen collection (urine stool sputum)
• Track and document intake/output and daily weights
• Respond quickly and effectively to call lights and patient needs
• Maintain a clean safe and organized patient environment
• Serve as a patient sitter when required
• Observe document and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Deliver culturally competent care tailored to individual patient needs
• Communicate professionally with patients families and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• Active New Jersey CNA License (required)
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 23 years of CNA experience required
• Mandatory experience in Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care (SAR/LTC)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work night shifts weekends and holidays as required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
