Facilities Building Maintenance Mechanic

The ideal candidate must have extensive mechanical skills to perform a variety of tasks related to commercial and industrial building maintenance/repair and upkeep.

This positions shift will be a 5/8 Graveyard schedule of:

1) Sunday - Thursday 11pm to 730am

Your Day-to-Day:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing building assets including dock plates doors wrappers and racking.
• Maintaining and repairing commercial and domestic refrigerators freezers and air conditioners.
• Locating and repairing defects in electrical control systems and equipment.
• Reading schematic control diagrams blueprints and working from sketches.
• Operate maintain and repair gas & electric heating and cooling systems
• Perform overall maintenance and repair of buildings grounds and equipment.
• Maintain Refrigeration HVAC and boilers.
• Perform scheduled and timely preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean safe work environment
• Perform timely and accurate trouble shooting
• Experience with computer related maintenance program.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 4 years of Commercial and Industrial Maintenance experience preferred.
• Proven experience/knowledge carpentry welding minor electrical plumbing and HVAC.
• Knowledge in warehouse maintenance including dock plate systems doors racking etc.
• Computer use with and maintenance software and systems controls.
• Valid Drivers License.

• Our full-scale wage is $33.21 per hour our starting wage is determined by verifiable experience and certifications as shown in the examples below:
  • 0-5 months experience - $27.23 per hour
  • 6 months experience - $28.23 per hour
  • 12 months experience - $29.56 per hour
  • 18 months experience - $31.88 per hour
  • 24 months or more experience - $33.21 per hour (full scale)
