As a Risk & Compliance Professional you will serve as a champion of Caterpillars Values in Action while driving continuous improvement and ongoing leadership of Caterpillars Enterprise Compliance within Resource Industries. This role will also provide focused support to the RPM organization within Resource Industries. This role partners with various teams throughout Resource Industries and across Caterpillar to create an awareness of and proactively ensure compliance in the commercial risk areas of Antibribery Fair Competition Fraud Government Contracts Product Regulatory and other regulatory risks.
What You Will Do:
Lead the proactive assessment of complex issues develop and implement creative solutions to ensure compliance with Caterpillars Code of Conduct policies and procedures and applicable laws.
Championing Caterpillars Values in Action: Developing and delivering targeted risk and compliance outreach sessions related to the Enterprise Compliance Program across Resource Industries.
Provide leadership to actively interface and collaborate with process partners and act as an advisor to the business partners in interpreting analyzing using and effectively responding to compliance requirements.
Identifying potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities; developing proactive risk management plans for mitigation of these risks and providing guidance for use in future situations.
What You Have:
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; Preferred 5 years of progressively responsible job-related compliance experience
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.
Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas
Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand monitor update control or enhance existing business or work processes.
Risk Management: Knowledge of processes tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organizations exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Additional Info:
The primary location for this position is Brisbane Newcastle or Melbourne Australia.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify.
