Job Summary
- A Stores Manager in Real Estate/Constructionmanages site inventory ensuring materials (steel cement tools) are available for projects maintaining accurate records and controlling stock movement via ERP systems. Key duties include reconciling inventory coordinating with procurement/site engineers managing store staff and preparing daily/monthly reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Control:Implement strict controls for receiving issuing and returning materials to minimize wastage and theft.
- Material Availability:Ensure timely availability of construction materials by coordinating with project managers and forecasting needs.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate up-to-date documentation for all inward/outward material movement (GRN - Goods Received Note).
- Stock Verification:Conduct regular physical verification of stock and reconcile with ERP/system records.
- Site Logistics:Manage site storage conditions and safety protocols.
- Reporting:Prepare daily weekly and monthly stock consumption reports for senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:Generally requires 8-14 years of relevant experience in store management within the real estate or construction sector.
- Education:A degree or diploma in Material Management Commerce or related fields.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in ERP software (e.g. SAP Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills:Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to lead store staff.
- Manage Inventory Requisition Purchase Orders Receipts Materials Received Register (MRR) Storage Dispatch and Inventory Control.
- Preparation of MRN MIN (Material Receipt Note Material Issue Note).
- Executing all the Day-to-Day Stores Function as per the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
- Maintain all store reports in Manual/ SAP.
- Maintain store stock register Assets stock register.
- Prepare monthly store reconciliation statement.
- Maintaining Minimum Stock level of all consumables.
- Maintaining the proper Method of stock issue maintaining the various levels of stock.
- Review of Store function (DPR/ERP feeding Status) of sites on daily basis.
- Overall responsibility for all Stores Dispatch Purchase functions.
